| |  In my ever quest for a solution to a clean house, I picked up a book at the library today called Real Simple: Cleaning. I always say that my house could qualify for a Mike Rowe Experience, but I thought I'd give this book a shot before I called him in.
Disappointedly, it offered no magical solution other than you must still actually clean house....darn it, I knew it would end that way! It basically rehashed solutions that I had heard a hundred times, but a couple I did find interesting.
I've always heard use denture cleaner tablets in the toilet to clean it, but the book suggested Antiacids. I am assuming they meant the Tums kind. Drop two antiacid tablets in the bowl and leave for 20 minutes. Like in your stomach, it will clear away the acid (didn't realize my toilet bowl had a stomach problem) and then you can just swipe and flush it away. Worth a try.
