George Carlin passed away yesterday. The first memories I have of him was as a kid I would sit up late at night (always the night owl) and watch him make his many appearances on The Tonight Show. He had my type of humor. Something that made you think. The everyday things that he brought to life. His routines stuck with you for years after hearing them...and are still funny today!
He was a thinking man's comic. I'm sure most of our comics today learned a thing or two from him. Or, at least if they took a few lessons from the school of Carlin it would be a much more funny world.
I leave you with a wish from George......." May the forces of evil become confused on the way to your house." Rest in peace, George.

He was always clever, made you think and laugh at the same time. I remember watching him on The Tonight Show as well, and I think probably SNL and other variety shows way back when. My friend saw his show in Vegas, at the Orleans, 2 weeks ago, and mentioned that George didn't look so well. But he enjoyed the show, nonetheless.
